User Profile

So who am I, really? The cop-out answer would be, "No one, not even me, knows for sure." Boring as it may be, it's true. So we move on. I am, as of this writing (July 25, 2005), a soon-to-be fourth year student at the University of Colorado at Boulder, studying English (success in reapplying to Creative Writing, by the way) and Film Production. My ultimate goal right now is to be able to remake the Star Wars prequels (working on a script currently. Ask anyone... that knows me well, anyway). Yes, I have no skills that are applicable in real life, as I like to say. And, yes, I really don't want to end up working a 9-to-5-sort of office job for the rest of my life (which I experienced last summer and would gleefully avoid forever and ever). Musically, I am gladly trapped in the late 1980's to early 1990's era of rock (good heavy metal, Seattle grunge rock, and relevant alternative/punk), with a smattering of everything else (especially current noisecore/post-metal). You know what, let's just say that I like "good music," and leave it at that. I also "play guitar," somewhat, and spend alltogether too much time watching television (on DVD, and plenty of movies) and playing video games (though I'm working to tone that one down). I'm also a huge science fiction fan in general, currently rereading all of my Timothy Zahn books (it's kind of a perpetual thing), and pondering buying the next 2 Honor Harrington novels (also something I'd love to be able to turn into a movie some day. Why dream small?). I'll forever be a frustrated theatre actor, thanks to high school and my friends from it.
